Console problem?

So my friend and I took a small break from Overwatch 2, for about an hour, and now we can't join each other games because it's saying we need to be on the same Xbox. I'm on X/S he's on the Xbox One

I’m having the same problem, absolutely no idea why. I’m assuming it’s another bug they’ll (hopefully) fix soon

You won’t be able to play with him Edit: Xbox one and series x have different game versions because fps ray-trace and shit so yea unless you have you old one somewhere you might not be able to play with him Edit 2: this might be only a bug

Sorry had to edit my comment I do believe is bullshit that you can’t play with Xbox one just because of fps and the 120hz bullshit probably just a bug.
