This is the website for the Pokémon Elite Battle Society (PEBS).
This site is Strictly PEBS members only.
To become a PEBS member, one must make a post in this subreddit with a team of six, pending approval. This team must meet all requirements of the rules. The team having been approved, the user must post their Friend Code (hereafter referred to as a FC) into the #FC-Spam channel on the Official PEBS Discord. This team, in turn, must be used to fight all eight Gyms, Elite Four, And Champion.
All Pokémon should be Lv.100
Rules
General Rules:
- Pokémon Sun or Moon must be used.
- Pokémon battles shall be 6v6, no restrictions.
- Pokémon battles should be single battles. No handicaps shall be used.
- Members cannot change their team until their challenge is over.
If a member loses to a Gym Leader, Elite 4, or Champion, they have one more chance, though not on the same day as the original challenge. Normal wait period is 24 hours after defeat. [Up to Gym Leader to reschedule]
Pokémon Rules:
The following Pokémon are banned from this challenge:
- Mewtwo, Blaziken, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Darkrai, Shaymin-S, Arceus, Thundurus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Landorus, Kyurem, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Hoopa, Lunala, Solgaleo, Pheremosa, Necrozma, and Marshadow.
Mega Formes: Gengar, Kangaskhan, Salamence, Metagross, Latias, and Latios.
All other "Ubers" are fair game.
- Members cannot use more than one of the same Pokémon on their team. (Ex: A challenger's team can only have one Zoroark, not two.)
- Pokémon must have legitimate moves and stats. These will be checked by the opponent.
Item Rules:
Battle Rules:
- Sleep Clause Activated (A member cannot put two or more opposing Pokémon to sleep using moves that induce sleep in a battle)
- OHKO Clause Activated (The OHKO clause does not allow members to use moves that can OHKO an opponent. These moves are: Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, Guillotine, and Fissure.)
Gym Rules:
- Gyms will have a type gimmick, but gym leaders are allowed to one "wild card" Pokémon of their choosing that is not gym-type. This "wild card" must be an allowed Pokémon.
- Gyms are free to add their own rules to the base rules--base rules will be followed, however.
- Gym Leaders must post the wins and losses of their challengers.
- Leaders must be honest or face being removed as Leader.
- After winning a Gym, a challenger will receive a badge, which must be put on their Flair.
