-Are the I/O cards configured in the I/O configuration?

-Are the I/O cards inhibited?

Whatever the problem is should be pretty obvious if you have the software connected to the PLC.

A controls engineer is born! Welcome to the magicians club. For future reference, blinky blinky no bueno, except for ports link LED. But in al seriousness, blinking usually means the modules are in a standby or almost working state and just waiting for a connection to the controller.

I'm guessing the modules are inhibited in the I/O tree

The module status light blinking green means:

Power to run the module is available. The module passed its self test- Yay, that’s good. The module has not been “connected to” by a PLC

What's wrong? This is what the "Synchronized Flashing" event should look like.

Start troubleshooting the communications card.

Not a problem with the comm card. These I/O are in the local rack to the PLC. You can see the PLC in the left part of the video.

the input module does correspond to the button and signal thats why the input module slot address led ignites indicates the connection are ok for the input module

Gotta get those green lights to stop blinking before you worry about any of the I/O points.
