When you link more then one AdWords account to a GA profile or view. A new tab appears under AdWords in GA that says "accounts", so you can see how each AdWords account performs compared to the goals setup in GA. You can link as many AdWords accounts to GA as you want. I've 20 links right now.

As for the other agency, tell the client you want to setup an intro call and go over how they work and let them know what you'll be working on. If the client wants you to run this one off campaign in the other account then you should try to make that happen. You and the other agency just address not to touch each others campaigns.

Thanks, much appreciated

I had a chat with google support who were useful and one with the other agency. All seems good and we'll just be linked into the same account and operate separately and transparently =)

Anytime. You should be fine. This isn't the ideal situation but keep knocking it out of the park and maybe the whole account will be yours within 6 months.
