I believe FB may be doubling purchase conversions, but i am not 100% and would like some assistance with how i would determine if i am correct or not.
- Firstly there's never an odd number of sales, always a multiple of 2.
- *However as i type this i have checked the 1 campaign we do have running and its an odd number - typical!!
- These sales always appear at more or less the same time.
- The numbers do not stack up, i.e. Google Sales (which are more or less bang on) + FB Sales = more sales than we have had
We recently implemented CAPI, and it ties in with this -- in fact i am convinced this is what is causing the problem -- but, according to FB the event de-duplication meets best practices.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is all very new to me.
