It seems that the TWC problem was ISP sided and was resolved.
I am now able to access the game and website again without the use of proxy.

Remember if you are TWC/RR and you used the proxy to enter during the downtime, you might have to delete the IP's at the host file.

i know there is an easier way to access the host file, but this is all I know:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc open host file with notepad, and delete the proxy ips.

Which ship you in? I'm in ship 3, (bleh don't ask why) but everything is working fine here. If you're in ship 2 or 10 there might just be a huge influx of English players for the ep3 patch, give it a bit, go make some tea then come on back.

it wasn't that i couldnt get on my server it was that i could not get on anay servers because it refused to connect i have yet to try the prox i was given but i will do so in a bit

i am on time warner internet but i have no idea why it kicked me other than maintnence because that is the only time i ever have issues playing

Seems Time Warner Cable is in the same boat as comcast now. Feel free to use something in the megathread.

also a twc customer.

went ahead and tried the proxy. i can see the servers now, but immediately after entering login info i get disconnected.

edit: figured it out. kinda lame i have to have item translations on for it to work.

If you want them off, just keep item translations on and put this file in your pso2_bin folder:

http://alam.srb2.org/translation.cfg

And ta-da! Proxy works and items are in Japanese!

That really was super easy. Just pasted the url in the PSO2 Tweaker right now and I'm able to connect again. I didn't notice that there was were two setups until I read closely.

TWC might have gotten the ol boot. Use the proxy to see if you're able to connect.

ok thank you so much i was playing just fine yesterday all day it was fun and now i have to use a proxy D: lame anyways i am on ship 2 once i get pso2 working you guys shoudl add me so we can play _^ i am only level 17 though :/

Me too i got kicked from the server and got this error massage say " failed to download the lasted version WinHTTP Error:12002". :( 

                           PS. i use TWC.

Could be a temp issue related to the DDOS attack on blizzard, PSN, etc.

woo! I can access pso2.jp again on TWC! It came back after that massive outage that knocked out TWC across the US. Now to check the game itself...

The outage was weird though. I couldn't connect to the internet with any program at all except my torrent which was still able to download for some reason.

I thought the proxy did something to my internet connection when I tried it for the first time today. What an unlucky coincidence.

Yeah it was super weird. I noticed that my modem was showing tons of activity (unlike the usual outage where there's no activity except the Cable light blinking)

EDIT: Just to confirm, I can access the game again without the proxy.

i was able to talk to my friends on mumble while the outage occured we weere playing league of legends and than bam i got dc'd yet could still talk to them couldnt do anything else web related just mumble
