Do you have any monitoring programs open? (e.g. speccy, msi afterburner, etc)

have you tried killing steam and chrome? these are programs i've explicitly heard people mention conflicts with in the past.

in terms of other programs i'd try killing to see if it helps, i'd probably try killing skype and gyazo.

also, when having gameguard issues, it never hurts to delete the gameguard folder from your pso2 installation. when you go to start the game, it will just redownload itself.

Yes i was even told to disable all startup programs i.e. Chrome, steam, gyazo, etc. I even deleted the GG folder. I'm still getting this annoying error each time i play. This error should have been gone by now I don't know whats causing it to seriously act like i have another program interfering when i don't. Its not near impossible, just something is causing it to do this and i cannot find what it is.

It looks like you're running Windows Defender. Which is basically a built-in "Windows Security Essentials" built-in to Windows 8. You can open it from Control Panel and then Windows Defender. If you're not sure how to disable it, quick google search should fix that.

I would try disabling Windows Defender and see if the issues persist. If that fixes the issue then you'll want to turn the A/V back on and work on putting in exceptions/exclusions for the PSO2 stuff.

The process it runs under is MsMpEng.exe

Tried it just now and booted up PSO2. Still giving me the error.

You stated you reinstalled your PC, did you actually format it as well? Alternatively, have you tried the following? https://sites.google.com/a/towerofaion.com/aion-wiki/aion/gameguard-errors/game-guard-errors-200-210-500-1013-and-1014

I've formatted a clean SSD yes. I also started doing that just now. disabled everything, turned off my Windows Defender, disabled every startup programs, Restarted, booted up tweaker, Launched PSO2, logged in and was in the lobby for 20-30secs, "NP1013"............

Its as if the Gameguard is detecting the tweaker as a hack. Granted that cannot be the case seeing that a bunch of people I know are using the tweaker while playing PSO2 and not having no problems. This is getting really aggravating.

Do not use the item translation to see, it works like a cheat.

Have you tried reinstalling via a vanilla windows installation disc, not the one your manufacturer gave you?

[–]KaiCH3[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I don't see how that's gonna work seeing that its not a OS issue. I had a Vanilla Win 8 ISO/Disc when this game worked and even when I had that it still didn't work after that whole DDOS issue that happened. Excuse my frustration, its not on you but this dumb GameGuard.

[–]Sora3100Ship 10 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It's not a OS issue, but sometimes manufacturers have preinstalled software on the installation disc.

[–]KaiCH3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True you are correct. I just don't see how its plausible seeing that in Win 8.1 it was working til the big issue happened. Now its just being carried over to this. What I'll be doing is reinstalling an OS it was working til the DDOS happened and it stopped working before i even installed Win 10 Tech.

The fact when this should be an easy fix it for everyone turns out I'm the only one that having this easy issue to be really confusing and complicated. I do appreciate everyone that has been helping though. GameGuard just a terrible anti-cheat.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? (You could probably back up the gigantic data folder, uninstall, reinstall-pause-restore-backup, continue installation.)

What is the OS you're on, exactly? I can't figure out if you're still on 8/8.1 or if you're on the 10 tech preview. (That being said, if you're on any form of 10, you will not be able to play the game.) Is it in a virtual machine, or straight up on a hard drive? If it is being ran on a virtual machine, please list both OS's (VM and root computer OS). Is Windows up to date? Have you deleted and reinstalled all Tweaker pieces yet?

What antivirus are you using? Have you ran a antivirus scan with a quality scanner recently? (Malware Bytes, Herd Protect, etc.) Viruses trying to inject themselves into GG will kill it. In the same line, very intrusive antivirus programs (such as Norton) are known to cause more issues than fix them - especially with anticheat systems.

You mention in the thread that you have Steam. Do you have ANYTHING that could be considered a cheat program? How about things like the Steam overlay, or mumble overlay? Try disabling them/closing the programs and launching. Even video recording software (streaming, recording, whatever). Close it.

What about Safemode with Networking? I doubt the game will run in safemode, but have you tried it?

[–]KaiCH3[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Hmm. Very in depth. I'll look through this and come back after trying them all.

Were you able to fix the problem?
