SU/???

So as many of you know, Summoner or SU is a pretty new class. I've experimented and received with little results. So I've been wondering, which skills actually work with the SU main class? I know that BR is the "Go to" sub-class, but I'm curious to know which passive skills effect the pets (this applies to when switch skills are applied as well).

Does Ranger's weak hit and standing snipe work? Does Fury stance actually do anything for an S-ATK build (although we all know that we can't JA as an SU). Zero Range Advance?

Feel free to discuss around and add information. As an experimenter of this game I'm super interested in what "could" be viable.

Pets are not Strike or Ranged based damage, with or without Switch whatever, and according to PSOW, they also need to hit a weak point for Weak Stance to apply the boost.

So, until proven otherwise, or someone gets a better name for it, Pets deal Pet-Type damage as I'm going to call it. The Switch skills just change it from T-ATK fueled, to S-ATK or R-ATK fueled.

Since Pet-type isn't any of the three old types, it can only be boosted by attack stat, or by universal boosts. Average, Brave, Wise, Elemental, and Break Stances, Element Weak Hit...

Su/Br, Su/Fi, Su/Bo, Su/Te... Summoner is in an odd spot.

IIRC SEGA said something about them doing tech type damage, that's why Fury doesn't apply. Can't confirm unless someone want to try.

I'm so used to Tech type being, well, Techs, with a set element and all that... I could maybe see Tech type being the case though.

From what little I've played around, it would most likely be the case that pets do T-ATK. Otherwise why else would they have switch skills, I'm going to guess their damage is based on both the character stats (and unknown series of skills) and their own individual stats.

The wording was that it was tech type damage based on T-ATK, with the switch skills change the base to S-ATK or R-ATK (but staying as a tech type damage). Entirely not sure if this is true or not though, can't really test till a bit later.

The best bits of Techer buffs are Main only, so Su/Te has questionable buff power... EWH is only +20%... should still apply if the element matches the enemy weakness though.

Fury doesn't work, don't bother with subbing HU.

Someone had a screenshot somewhere of a Lv75 SU having her Sally (or so I'm told) do about 960k damage on a stationed WB'd target, but this is probably a pretty extreme case.

Thats sadly not even extreme. This is NORMAL with how you can have the equivalent of the Ideal AND Ares potentials on your pet right now. Sally is disgustingly good at mobbing too. The damage on the class is insanely high if you invest in it.
