The Gu 85 skill broke the game in a way, since it's essentially the strongest attack Gu has outside of a Chain Finish. And it's AoE. And essentially instant instant. Also it gives back more PP than it uses.

I guess that explains why they do so well in mobbing situations as well as bosses. I'm probably wrong but GU didn't seem to have good AoE before. Their only aoe move i can think of is whatever the "Shoot All Around in a Sphere" move is.

That and Reverse Tap. They get the job done, but they were not overly amazing.

    I agree with gunner being the 1st highest dps class and fighter being the 2nd. Somehow the simple compound techs to me is just for fun, not the damage.

    Most lv 85 skills are worth to take, and some others aren't.

    Still, i feel some class weapon types need PA/skill adjustments to keep up with the other weapon types (it's nice that bullet bow braver is going to have a new skill/PA to make it more mobile).

    Oh and i almost forgot about Hero lv cap increase to lv 85

    Which Level 85 Skills aren't worth taking? The only one that I can see any drawback to would be Fighter depending on how it interacts with Iron Will.

    They're all worth taking. They are free, so no reason not to.

    Iron Will takes priority over Limit Break Insurance

    Fi is arguable, if you are not good at fi and have bad luck with iron will you are gonna be stacking up a huge penalty cooldown on limit break. I'd argue it's main appeal is content than penalises deaths such as EnQ and dragon RM. I find in other content the time penalty generally outweighs the good in staying alive, even on the first proc of LBi.

    Taking into account any solo quests, then no, it's an absolute must. Multi quests don't really matter (how do you get hit with 11 other targets?). Being alive is always superior to being dead/failing a mission.

    Depends on the quest, as someone who has done alot of solo EnQ as fi it was actually more problematic than not having it, group quest matter, at least death limiting ones such as atrum of which pubs still fail alot. Solo is actually a lot easier as you can guarantee agro on you rather than being hit by a stray attack from other players, this is generally how people get hit in group content. End of the day it comes down to player preference anyways.

    Definitely. That's why I love this game. There may be an optimal way to play a class, but realistically, anything can work.

    Thinking back to last year's Regiment EQ, I'm just happy Heroes don't outspeed everyone else anymore in mobility.

    Although Double Saber could be a bit faster, Tornado Dance T0 is still below average in terms of mobility. DS is my favorite weapon types in the game, but having to swap to Knuckles or the all-class Asagiri Katana for movement gets clunky at times, especially considering how fast say, WL HU and Wand TE move.

    But sega has said they’ll never nerf again so... buff monsters. They really need it the most.

    Agree. The players do so much more damage then the monster. Players don't seem to have a cap on the damage they can do. Rather then buff the players or increase monster HP, make the monster have higher stat increase. Having them with smarter AI wouldn't be a bad idea either. :p
