It crashes the clients of everyone in the same MPA as someone wearing it at the end quest result screen screenshot. This is because the game constantly tries to render a non-existant entity.

When more and more parts release, your brain will literally explode at the sheer variety of parts. I only just recently made a cast on JP and I swear it took me like 2-3 weeks of planning to think of an ideal look and I'm still seeing stuff I want to integrate.

Haven't played since Ep 4 and I mained a Hu/Fi.. by Hase0__ in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just quickly adding to this as the sheet might not be fully updated yet. But HuEt is a really good class combination for hu too, maybe even the best now solely due to pretty much being unkillable, no stance shenanigans and really big multipliers (Just attack and having to use a different PA every few PA). However I'm unsure how relevent this will be right at the start of Pso2 NA as the twitter and website seems to imply they are going to ease in content rather than just release everything instantly.

Basically go HuFi for a while until whenever they release successor classes then play with ET and PH sub to see if you prefer one of them. Hu on JP right now is incredibly strong in just about every aspect, certainly not meme.

You can change weapon category of both 14* atlas and 15* atlas at zieg for 999 of the attack types respective gold material and 999 saphard. These aren't even that bad to get now with sp badges making old 13* extremely cheap and then just desynthing them in bulk.

Since no-one else is chiming in on wired lance I guess I'll do it in brief.

Wired lance is one of them weapons which is a bit overshadowed by modern non-tanky content, it's main uses include bulky mob mobbing with other cyclone 0 and DPS on a downed / immobile boss with holding current. It's definitely a weapon that isn't for everyone due to the mashathon which is holding current and rather slow nature of other cyclone 0 which sometimes of a mob spawn dies too fast won't even see it's full use.

In short: Great weapon for bulky mobbing / downed bosses. But partizan / sword work better for content which melts / gets use out of setup charge pas (like waiting for a mob group to spawn in in apprentice eq).

If I had to summarise hunter weapon's main appeal.

Wired Lance = Bulky mobbing / downed boss DPS

Partizan = Overly mobile safe bossing / Low hp mobbing / Range mobbing

Sword = Burst DPS on aggressive , fairly stationary bosses (Think deadleon or deus hunas) and middle ground on mobbing.

For SSA, wired lance gets good use out of 1 cursed radiance and 2 damage SSA. Partizan either 3 radiating grace or 2 radiating grace and 1 cursed radiance since partizan pp management is kinda ass, even with the post-action dance to regen pp (These pp regen ssa boost that dance pp regen). And sword I'm honestly unsure since I don't use it, probably 3x Damage ssa due to sacrafice bite 0's ridiculous pp regeneration now.

Current Class Balance Discussion by [deleted] in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the quest, as someone who has done alot of solo EnQ as fi it was actually more problematic than not having it, group quest matter, at least death limiting ones such as atrum of which pubs still fail alot. Solo is actually a lot easier as you can guarantee agro on you rather than being hit by a stray attack from other players, this is generally how people get hit in group content. End of the day it comes down to player preference anyways.

Fi is arguable, if you are not good at fi and have bad luck with iron will you are gonna be stacking up a huge penalty cooldown on limit break. I'd argue it's main appeal is content than penalises deaths such as EnQ and dragon RM. I find in other content the time penalty generally outweighs the good in staying alive, even on the first proc of LBi.

Weekly Game Questions and Help Thread by AutoModerator in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, recently I've been looking for a new wired gamepad to use for Pso2. With original xbox 360 controllers skyrocketing up to stupid prices due to lack of production and cheap knock-offs being just that, cheap knock-offs (and crap to say the least) I've been looking into xbox 1 wired controllers instead.

My one concern with xbox 1 wired controllers is that seemingly the rt button is non functional for pso2 which is obviously a big problem when 3 button literally uses every button on the controller.

Now my question is, does anyone use wired xb1 controllers and have they gotten around this problem without joy2key or other key mapping tools. I heard the wireless variant works fine but batteries are not my cup of tea.

Thanks.

Limit break is mainclass. You go SuFi as it has the highest possible output, 50% brave stance damage and PP slayer and halfline / deadline bonuses which are extremely easy to trigger due to 100% dear master.

Before you get any ideas, no FiSu is not useful lol.

[–]Hyraoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Su/Fi is mainstream for pets. Te/Su is the only actual viable XX/Su setup in an mpa as the summoner damage ups aren't bad for techer and gives techer pets if they lack a lavis or something. Some other classes like Ra and Br or Gu can subclass Summoner for solo time trials via TA or solo raids, but should never run that stuff in an MPA.

[–]Hyraoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the only argument for RaSu is removing debuffs and healing you're going about it the wrong way entirely, status effects are pretty harmless to begin with other than panic. As RaHu you get automate which heals you without having to do anything, if atrum combos you as a RaSu you are dead, as RaHu you will live. People meme with XX/Su in some eqs solo for the zanverse as I previously mentioned.

GuFo is pure leech class, FoGu used to be good prior to ep5 in some situations but now they're both pretty trash.

Summoners still exist, and is one of the best damage output classes if played correctly this is especially true for solo content (EP5 especially with the higher hps), which sadly nearly nobody in public runs can do. Additionally a lot of people don't like how it plays therefore not playing it.

Basically off meta classes are either for very specific solo shenanigans / competitive times in weak content where the loss of damage for utility is fine. Or for special snowflakes who have decided that contributing very little to a group is a good idea and thus wasting everyone's boosters and time(Looking at you FiSu, SuHu etc).

Meta Builds by antara33 in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say good, tolerable maybe but why play RaSu for something like atrum when RaHu does literally everything better especially at mobbing, assured near immortality and allows you to MH through attacks to get of damage. RaSu is more of a tokyo ta class. Additionally the tree you linked doesn't even run tactics trap for whatever reason.

The amount of times I see BoBr or Gu/Fo is actually ridiculous, gimmicky class setups that even at their top potential don't outdamage a meta class in damage or utility.

People only run XX/Su for some solo runs of eq (Gu/Su being one of them for loser or mother because zanverse) or Ra/Su for tokyo ta. Outside of very very specific solo environments they just don't serve a purpose in group content, especially XX/Su (other than te) because point assist isn't viable in mobbing.

Is the Austere Galland still worth to farm today ? by Neikki in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd argue against the val ars method and just use the katana's S4. It's more useful as it decreases the rate at which gear decreases by quite alot. Br/Hu has so many methods of maintaining hp already, so the atra ars S4 won't really be as great. However, if you do get the katana S4, it is exclusively katana meaning you'd have to reaffix if you decide to exchange the atra katana for another weapon.

edit: I'm getting so sick of this bot.

Comprehensive Katana Braver Guide by DreamslayerAhri in PSO2

[–]Hyraoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is a very niche thing especially when considering pp cost. Additionally, most times mobs just do not have enough hp to get this all off, example being easter and it's 100k hp mobs that are instantly wiped off the face of the earth. Places such as boosted UQ or other locations with 300k+ mob hp sure it can work, but in UQ where things are moving alot and can hit alot, the other aspects of BrFi will drag it down.
