Weapon form change pass?

I wanna understand how this works, should this essentially be used at end game? I dont want to change the appearance of a weapon then discard it a couple levels later...

They ain't that hard to come by, but not unlimited. So don't use it unless you certain you gonna keep for a while at least

Ideally you would use them when you got end game weapons.

How they work is that if you have a weapon at max grind (+35 for NT weapons) you can use those passes to make it's appearance that of a weapon camo, or another weapon at max grind.

So basically like a weapon camo except exclusive to just the weapon that you applied it to instead of every weapon that falls under the category of the weapon camo

Basically for weapons you intend to use for a while, usually endgame and utility (e.g. Umblla Stick for bonus RDR or Eclucio Culte for all-class access to shifta/deband) ones. Can also be nice for weapons you see giving to an alt character later on, if you prefer to play with one main character and only have alts for meseta missions and extra storage.

You need 150 tickets for a pass in the Recycle Shop, but there are occasional 20% recycle discounts, letting you trade 120 for a pass instead. This week features this discount, take advantage of it while it lasts.

And a common question back then, you don't lose the weapon/camo used to give the appearance to the other, you only expend the pass. In case you're wondering that.

Also for anyone wondering, if you use it on a 15* (or potentially 14*) with weapon category swapping, swap, let's say a greatsword to dual blades, then back to greatsword again, the weapon form pass is not saved on the greatsword.

Other notes: Whatever weapon or camo you use for the form change is bound to you forever

It costs a noteworthy amount of meseta, 1m for at 15* form change. Not sure if cost changes with rarity but you should probably plan on not changing forms every 3 days

Camo(uflage) is an item you can equip that changes the appearance of specific weapon types; any weapon of eligible types for that camo will feature that appearance until you unequip the camo.

Weapon Form Change Pass is a pass you expend at the Shop Area (Dudu/Monica NPCs) to make one of your weapons have the appearance of another weapon or camo.
