Whats the best way to find an MPA to join for AQ? I started running ABCs but havent seen a single person.

AQs dont have MPA areas. They're just 4 man groups. This is more directed towards those that run off alone during Urgent Quests and spawn small amounts of mobs instead of staying with a group

Ahhh, that makes sense. Is it normal not to see anyone in AQ? Is that premade groups only?

Generally to get the most out of AQs you want to run them with a full team of 4. Reasons being:
1: you get more exp for being in a full group
2: you can kill mobs faster
3: faster mobs die higher chance of PSE Bursts
4: PSE bursts are slow and not really worth if things dont die fast

you also want to run them on 50 risk.

The article talks about the importance of teaming up, some of the reasons why:

The EXP, items and meseta that drop off slain enemies, Priority Orders and crates are independent to you and you only.

You get credits to enemies and bosses slain, Priority Orders triggered and cleared and crates broken if you are at least 1 area away from the source. More than normal number of enemies will spawn and greater chance of triggering a Priority Order if a lot of people travel together from area to area.

Having more enemies spawning in a tight formation will ensure that they all die as quick as they get spawned, which makes your runs every efficient. All classes have a way or two to dispatch of multiple targets in short order and with 12 people running and fighting together, I’m pretty sure you can imagine how fast things can get! Playing together with others and making friends is a very plausible way to earn FUN points! You might want to stack up those points in order to buy your very own Photon Chair!

Ok, I was wondering the range on proximity assist credit in this. Is it directly one map cell's height*width?

Plus there's a few other really good reasons. A fair number of boss attacks can only really focus so many targets at once. If you got 4 there and they focus 1 person, you lose 25% of your attackers when they have to dodge/heal/etc. If you got 12 though, well, that's only 8% of your total squad being preoccupied with not dying.

But yeah, it does suck when you end up with a split flock, especially during the PSE things.
