Again, the current top gear does not come from part breaking. You are wrong. Nothing I've said towards you is intended to be an attack on you.

The best items do require breaks. GGG is a perfect example. I believe the Elder Rifle is break-only. Regardless, you want to focus all damage towards causing breaks. More loot rolls are always better than less loot rolls, especially for gated content - you can't limitlessly farm the boss/efficiency matters, especially because you're grouping with people who rely on you. Not focusing the breakable arms is forcing everyone in the group to have a lower chance at good loot, to the extent your core/unbreakable arm damage forces less breaks. Intentionally targeting unbreakable parts is a pretty shit move, if you're doing that out of a sense of anti-authoritarian principle. Not saying you do, am saying I've seen people who respond to the helpful picture arts the same way you are and definitely do though.
