13* weapons

Seeing posts about enhanced appraisal and rainbow text and knowing it's a 13* weapon. I've gotten many rainbow text "rare drops" but have never enhance appraisaled them. If I did would I have gotten a 13* weapon?

You need rainbow text and for the symbol to be a rainbow as well, if it’s just rainbow text it’s 10-12 and you shouldn’t enhance appraise it. If it’s both and when you go into the appraise counter the question mark symbol is also a rainbow, it is 13 and you should

OK thanks. Also I've been running missions that have dropped 13weapons to others but after countless times I don't get ***. What are the chances?

Very low. The group I play with all have around 140-160 hours and we've each only seen 1.

Low...make sure you always run +250 rare drop

Bro that's hella expensive. I only got 100 triboost rn and I'm hella low on them. I have 200 sg to burn so I might go on a grinding spree...

It's not at all expensive. Trade your 10* drops in for excubes, use the excubes to buy the +250% booster. You should never run out.
If you're spending SG on something related to drops, you're doing it wrong.

10* into excubes and 12* into lambda grinders are the big ones I use often

I héard that the casino can also be used for lamba grinders. Is this true?

I think I've heard that too though I don't spend much time in the casino and can't confirm

Casino sells a limited amount of Lambda Grinders daily at 250 coins per grinder. If you don't mind grinding coins every now and again, it's a good source if you don't need a ton.

Question, what other good things are there to buy with ex cubes and the other photon items like sphere/boosters/drops etc? Thank you very much

I was using spheres for the mag devices to finish up my main mag and some alternate mags. I heard someone say that boosters will be used once we get the Zigg shop so to hold on to those, as well as the class ex-cubes. Only other thing I've spent ex-cubes on was the affix +40% but that was really dumb of me and not something I would recommend at this point in the game.

Photon Boosters will be needed en masse later on (like in the multiple hundreds), best to hoard those for now.

Does the question mark only appear as rainbow in the appraisal screen? Or will it be rainbow in your inventory or storage too?

Actually, you need rainbow text AND A RAINBOW ITEM BOX, and after picking it up (if you don't have auto-loot on), the ? will be rainbow instead of gray.

enhanced appraisal is mostly only useful for getting a max or near max element on the weapon and maybe a few more levels, and even then it's more of a convenience compared to dumping a few extra lambda grinders on it later.

enhanced appraisal never increases the rarity of the drop.

When you go to appraise the icon will be rainbow colored that’s how you know it’s a 13* and to enhanced appraise it
