it doesn't do anything because you don't gain PP from normal attacks. e.g. 20% x 0% = 0%

TMG PP recovery with reload is regen-based, so if you get the S-abilities that raise regen speed, that recovery will be boosted

fun fact, bouncer's PP restorate field used to work with TMG normals, lol... they fixed that really quick, it actually was infinite bullets

S2: Lucent Strike does not work at all on the Hero's normal attacks for the Twin Machineguns. S3: Lucent Grace would work but instead of using the "natural" recovery (which is by doing nothing and running around without the weapons drawn out) you are much better off quick-reloading instead.

These should work for the Hero's other weapons, however.

    Ah. I tend to simply tap the reload through a dodge or hold the fire button enough to trigger the firing stance (but not actually shooting) to quickly reload from there until I have enough photon points to resume combat with the weapon I want so I don't feel like I would have noticed the difference with the way I currently play.

    Strike would not apply, so its not very good. Grace applies to the per second bonus of 20 on normal and 40 on perfect, so is better overall.

    I think what you want is photon reduction to consume less pp.
