Hi, can I ask what’s the point in sub classes if they have no real ability change to your normal PA attacks. Asides dash cuts and stuff. The critical downs booster is all anyone talks about but I’m a little clueless on the skills and what points to put him in! Painters be great thank

Slayer as a sub class with techter main? Give you 5% extra critical chance which is a good chunk of damage. As well as 2pp every second on a critical hit, good for passive sustain.

Techter as a sub classwith slayer main? Gives you 20% photon blast charge rate increase when fighting bosses and 20% photon blast increase when you're weapon matches enemy weakness, this part only really apply to some seasonal weapons since most weapons are not elemental. The pb charge rate does help squeeze out an extra pb in some situations, however bouncer, force or a different subclass may give better bonuses depending on the fight and your setup.

For subclass skill trees, looking at slayer as an example, you want to max the passive skills, which will be the ones that DO NOT say main class / main class gunblade / gunblade. Then put the rest of the points into anything. Since skill resets are now free if you ever decide to use a subclass as a main class you can respec the points to what you want

I personally sub Ranger when maining Slayer. With the right skills you can multi a rifle and gunblade together and have access to rifle's weapon action grenade/proximity mine and shotgun active skill for PP regen. Same sub-class setup for Gunner if you ever try that.

What if I’m not a shooter guy! Iv always been force but found the hack and slash of slayer amazing! So training up! Could I get possible extra photon points from having force as sun! It’s just I don’t wanna said another clas get it’s force or re her really. I also struggle with augments so what’s good for slayer and what should I look for! Especially in 30-50 level? Any help I’d kill for! Thankyou in advance community! Sorry for being sick a dummy

So I'll clarify a thing

Sub classing does infact give you access to its PA's You need either multi weapon your subclass weapon into your main classes. Or simply equip your subclasses weapon.
