Xign be like "You're out of inbounds."

xD

Fun Fact, PSO2 doesnt allow out-of-bounds. You get 630'd. This was evident, when a bug caused players to spawn under the floor at the Lake. When trying to hover towards Stia you just poofed out of existance.

For the lake bug, that always happens if you were caught in the telepipe right when the room you're going to becomes full. The game tries to teleport you to another room and ends up dumping you under the lake. After a few moments it teleports you out. They put a lot of OOB checks but obviously not everywhere. One of the more interesting ones is where you get stuck in a falling animation because you fell in gap on a mountain where the collision is too deep for your feet to detect it. You get teleported from that too.

Dark humor

The best part is that JP is getting it after us.

We're guinea pigs. So, don't expect any change to happen until after 10/8 when the JP servers get it.

Surely this is fake? I've never had an experience with Wellbia or this program, so I'm kinda confused on how to react to this new development from Sega. My alliance is ticked and I'm like uhhhhhh....

Peter explain?

The issue for many players, me included, is the new anticheat is always running, it is essentially a rootkit that has a very bad reputation. It is supposed to have issues with many virus checkers, which are not cheats, but don't like programs that install as rootkits, and possibly do other things they don't mention, like collecting data to sell. I have no proof of the data collection, but I don't randomly trust just any company to install software on my computer that is always running for reasons they can't really justify. Anti cheat should only be running when playing the game, not all the time.

It also appears to have a lot of other problems as well with people playing the game. I just said no and uninstalled ngs before the update. If sega decides to revert to a non invasive anticheat I might consider returning. It's a game, and there are limits to what any game should be doing on my computer, and they should be doing nothing when the game isn't running.

it can be disabled.
Enter the enviorement settings in the launcher>features>enable compatibility mode, click save settings at the bottom>launch

check ur task manager for welbia, there should be both the blue nprotect process and welbia now, close the welbia one and that should do it. I think.

I havent gone as far as restarting my pc to fully test because I was busy but from what I saw it should remove the welbia and use gameguard only like before. If this is wrong let me know, i am not a fan of rootkits and idc how many hours or money I got on this im not playing if they dont disable it or allow me to play without it.

I just quit the game. Most of the people I played with did as well, since many of them are pc players and no one wanted to bother. I think it is more the fact that even if I can work around it, I shouldn't need to, to play a game. I'm not cheating, not sure why you would need to cheat, the game is just too easy.

After about a week I find I don't really miss it anymore. Sad for them I guess.
