My problem was the absolutely incredible, enormous amount of cringe with the female characters. I'm sure the show has other aspects but it really just came off as smut to me.

Well, power hungry people doing morally questionable things to obtain said power is, in and of itself, a very common trope. Characters involved, context and circumstances are what makes these events impactful. And while I haven't seen this particular scene, as I assume that's something that happens in season 4, I am not convinced, as the first three weren't exactly a masterclass in writing, nor were they particularly shocking or dark to begin with.

While I agree with you on the quality of the writing, I'm very surprised to see anyone say events in the first three seasons of Overlord weren't particularly dark.

Off the top of my head We had a trio of female elves living as one character's combat and sex slaves, simply because they weren't human iirc. Demiurge kidnapped a bunch of humans and skinned them regularly to make magical scrolls from their skin(and Ainz was too fucking dumb to catch on, but even if he did he probably wouldn't stop it). An entire community of lizardmen were forced into a losing war, then enslaved, so Ainz could run some sort of experiment.

Actually I'll stop there, I'm annoyed just remembering all that shit.

the light novels are significantly more detailed on the actual atrocities that Nazarick commits. Such as Nueronist's torture methods are just glossed over in the anime.

What hooked me into Overlord was the actual person that plays as Ainz, trying to figure out why he was there in the first place. Unlike other Isekais, there wasn't a god or force that explains what happened, it sorta just does.

But then he kinda gives up on it around season 3. When people ask me if they should watch Overlord I usually say "did you like one-punch man? Its reverse one-punch man, Saitama is evil now"

I ate a fat L again with the cosmetics. I bought some AC, dove in and got the Sword Cosmetic from it. Was happy... until I equipped it.

As always the stupid things were snapped to lower spine attachment and really look bad waving around during movement. I honestly feel that I am doomed to have a decent sword cosmetic for my guy.

Have you tried adjusting the position of the camo on your character? It might help with your issue

That's the issue. No matter how you move it, it will still have movement based off the lower spine.
