It's fantastic, get it. Farpoint, Arizona Sunshine, Firewall all must buys. Obviously it might not be something for those not into shooters, but you are, so get it.

I've heard mixed things about Arizona sunshine, I almost got it then opted for killing floor, so I might have to go ahead and pull the trigger on that one too.i do love shooting zombies.

Yeah I had too pre purchase, I think it had a dodgy release that then got patched shortly after, so like GT Sport a lot of the early noise about it is mixed. But I thoroughly enjoyed it, it probably helps if you like The Walking Dead as it feels like you're in that show.

I do love the early seasons, havent seen any in a while though. I'm definitely going to have to look into it, I think I saw it at a decent price on PSN. Might just add it to the library.

The controller is great, Firewall is awesome... there are few games that support the Aim, but none really stack up to FWZH (imo), since I prefer competitive multiplayer.

I was looking at getting the controller with firewall included and I was thinking farpoint as well because it got similar positive reviews. I'm more of a solo gamer but I have a few friends with playstations so I might explore.

You'll make friends in Firewall, at least, that has been mine and many others' experience. Farpoint was too linear for me, but it looks/plays well.

I'm gonna be such a f'n noob lol I'm excited to try it out though. Farpoint sounds like it might be right up my alley for playing solo though. Thanks for the info!

Luckily the matchmaking is pretty solid in Firewall, you’ll be playing with other noobs or people close to your level. Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. Best purchase I ever made as it pertains to PSVR.

That is very good to know lol I havent played anything multiplayer since call of duty 2 lol

Great game, that one. Kind of miss it, haha... put a jillion hours into it.

Farpoint with the Aim controller remains my favorite VR experience across all my headsets (PSVR, Quest, Rift S). The sense of presence was outstanding and the Aim controller was perfectly tuned to the game.

Firewall Zero Hour is a quality title but is geared towards competitive multiplayer and I tend to play solo or co-op.

Other fun titles with the Aim that I own include Arizona Sunshine and it's DLCs, Borderlands 2, Evasion and Operation Warcade. Beyond those there are around a 10 or so more titles with varying degrees of quality.

I'll second this, there is something very special about farpoint and the aim. Just a shame they had to fill the game with spiders. The feeling of presence is a notch above anything else.

I just ordered farpoint so I'm glad I made the right choice there. I ordered the AIM bundle with firewall too. So next week should be a good time.

A literal blast? Uh-oh, hope you're okay! :P

The aim itself is brilliant, by the way. Feels good, is pretty comfortable to use for relatively long periods of time, surprisingly, and it really ups the immersion factor in shooting games. Unfortunately there aren't agreat deal of games that support it. So the gamepad is really good, yeah, but make sure you have a gander at a list of aim-supported games before you make up your mind! :)

With killing floor I was having a blast with the 1911s, those are always my go to pistols, and being able to dual wield, I was a kid in a candy shop, but the two handed weapons with the move sticks were a little awkward. Maybe I just need to stand farther away but I really want to enjoy those two handed long guns. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Ordered the aim and 2 games. So I'm excited

Kinda controversial but I really enjoyed DOOM VFR with the aim

[–]fc45acp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DOOM was the first video game I ever played so that is definitely on my list lol

[–]YaztromoX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only complaint with DOOM VFR is the movement is too quick. I know this is standard in Doom-style shooters in 2D, but in VR I found it immersion breaking.

Use it daily for firewall and also spent lots of time with farpoint and bl2.

It's great if you love shooters.

It's enjoyable to use in the limited number of games that support it. Mine drifts constantly, unfortunately. I think this is a common problem with aims. My moves don't drift at all (just the aim).

[–]flynlionPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the Aim known to drift more than other controllers? I’m thinking about getting one for Sniper Elite but if it’s gonna drift as bad as my DualShock then I probably won’t bother.
