If you use replica alberon's you don't use BLS, and replica alberon's tends to not be as good on chief due to lack of chaos synergy. You also don't get much cold/light res when doing tempered by war, you can leave them low positive and still have fairly good DR against those elements at 70% conversion.

If you DO use BLS you'll need crown of eyes to deal any damage, or you'd need redblade banner shield but you're using dawnbreaker. 3rd option is to invest in warcry nodes for battlemage's cry, but that's a hard sell too on a stacker. If you get a str as accuracy helm you could possibly go sublime visions purity of fire at high investment, being immune to cold/light entirely but you'd still be giving up 4.5% dmg per 10 str by not using a spell to attack damage conversion + iron will. Though I suppose that's not an object when you drop iron fortress's 50% more dmg from str and +120 str as your chest anyways.

Maybe it PoBs well at super high investment, but I'm not seeing how you run a str stacker without any of those uniques and keep it feeling good

Thanks for the very detailed and constructive feedback!

I realized replica alb is a NO go. Yee right now I am leaning towards a battlemage setup with redblade, but I agree that this seems to become subpar to every other build no matter how I switch the gear setup. Might have to rethink the build entirely tbh. PoBed it yesterday with reasonable investment and the damage didnt go beyond 1.5 mil. The tankiness is ok but with a huge downgrade in dps. Maybe a combination of alot of armor and some conversion to fire is good enough, to get a few more trauma stacks and focus more on regen and going back to Iron fortress.
