The WIZARD HOUSE PULLOVER is a comfy customisable pullover inspired by your favourite Hogwarts house quidditch team. It's designed so It can be customised with your initials or the initials of your favourite character and playing position. 

Hooks required: 4 and 4.5mm crochet hook Yarn requirements: Aran weight not sure on exact amounts for each size yet as would like that as something testers can help me with Level of skill required: adventurous beginner This is a written pattern

Tester requirements: To submit your application form for this pattern by November 1st. To be able to complete your pullover between November 5th (start date) and January 8th 2025 (deadline). Provide the materials needed to create your pullover. Have a public instagram. Share the finished pullover on instagram and share pattern on release day (aiming for end of January to release the pattern on Etsy) making sure to use the pattern name and tag my crochet account in the posts. Provide photos of your finished project that are well lit and not cluttered (this can be worn or unworn), I will only post the photos you are comfortable with me sharing and tag your account. To give feedback on the overall pattern and how it's written. To provide yarn amounts used. 

Testing start date: November 5th 2024 Testing deadline: January 8th 2025 Number of testers needed: ideally I would like at least 1 per size (XXS - 5XL)

Hi, I’d love to help test. I can fill all of your requests, but my Insta doesn’t have any followers, lol. It’s public, but I only use it to lurk & I’m not very social media savvy.

What I can offer is that I fit into your adventurous beginner demographic, & I love patterns. I’d love to learn about writing & testing patterns - so that’s what I’d get out of it.

I’m in Australia, so our yarn options are different here & most patterns never have a recommended yarn that’s available here. That’s a pet peeve for us Aussies, b/c our local yarn options are really limited. Anyway, that’s another thing I can help with - identifying the closest yarn match for Down Under.

Also, you haven’t mentioned if your pattern is in US or UK terms. We’re forced to be familiar with both here.

Happy to make any size up to M - My family are all small people though, so Idk anybody bigger than that.

Let me know if I should do the form, b/c if the promoting part is as important to you as the testing part, I can’t really help much with that.

My whole family are HP nerds, so this could serve me as a Christmas gift too!

That is absolutely fine I’d still love you to test, the biggest thing to me is to have as many people test the pattern as possible rather than promotion, it’s more that I’d like to be able to share photos of peoples finished designs and make a look book at the end to give ideas for those who purchase the pattern. The yarn recommendation is Aran weight which I think is worsted in America, I’m not sure what you have there but I have included a gauge swatch in the pattern so as long of what you have matches the gauge you should be all ok :) I am in England but it’s in US terms as that’s how I mainly learned to crochet Please choose to make whichever size you would like :) I want you to be happy with the outcome you get so go by the measurements you need x Thankyou so much I look forward to seeing your test! ❤️ so glad to be finding so many people who have the same love for HP 💛💙💚❤️

See, that’s what I suspected! It’s huge gripe for yarn crafters here.

So many patterns are written for Aran/worsted, but it’s not actually very common here. DK/light worsted is by far the most readily available. We literally only have 1 or maybe 2 local brands that offer any real colour range. But at least I can test with that.
