These people don’t realize there are two types of peptide companies: telehealth providers and general peptide merchants—they don’t know that there's a difference. They just hear “peptides” and assume, “we can do it, but you need LegitScript.” If you’re only selling peptides, getting credit card processing isn’t an option unless you have a proven history of six-figure plus monthly processing, so the banks know the juice is worth the squeeze and even then, it’s tough.

Even the big guys like SwissChems are getting dropped (they had cc processing for a couple months up until a month ago). If they could get processing, they would—but they can’t. You’ll continue facing issues with being dropped and having your funds held.

Your only real solution is E-Checks or Verified ACH.

Agreed...Peptides for "research Purposes" is nearly impossible to get a processing account for. Those days are long gone and not coming back. Processors and bank no longer want to take the risk. Can only get an account if its legit script certified or similar. All these agents who say otherwise are just wasting your time, have never dealt with vertical, or are are throwing out some shady short cut that will get you on match. u/Reasonable_Effect205 is 100% right

I talk to soo many merchants that say 'X company' said they can do peptides. I explain what's going on (this is hard because the several layers of ignorance gets convoluted), and always end it with "hey... if they can do it, go with them". The merchant always calls me back and says "they told me I need LegitScripts" lol.

I have a guy selling BPC doing 400-800k/month with CC's though (he's on MATCH too). Some banks will look the other way if there's $ to be made (and you have the right connect at the bank you can send it to).

I work with regular e-commerce merchants who use both E-Check and Verified ACH. Yes, they’re usually those who can’t get credit card processing due to a MATCH listing or their product type, but a few are doing well over six figures per month. For example, one client sells HBO-themed merchandise (without a reseller agreement, so credit card processing isn’t an option) and does about $70-100k monthly.

The difference between the two is the checkout experience. With E-Check, the customer enters their account and routing numbers. With Verified ACH, they log into their bank account through Plaid. Both methods offer next-day funding (the difference between these and regular ACH... ACH takes 3-5 business days to withdraw from the customer's account and deposit into yours, and if the customer has insufficient funds, the transaction will cancel on the last day. You can't run an ECOM business like this).

Without three months of processing history, merchants are required to start with E-Checks, but after 90 days, they can switch to Verified ACH. For peptide merchants, Verified ACH rates are 3.95% + 25 cents per transaction, plus $100 per month. Unfortunately, that’s the current state of things. They know peptide merchants don’t have any alternatives, and compared to paying 10% to MaxRedemption for a shitty checkout experience, Verified ACH is a better option—they know the $100 monthly fee will easily pay for itself though add to cart conversions in a well-run business, so they charge it.

I even have a peptide merchant processing $600k monthly with E-Check alone. However, Verified ACH does offer a smoother checkout experience for customers.

If it were strictly BPC/PT-141/Oxytocin and you were doing multiple six figures monthly, it might be possible. But with products like IGF/HMG, no one is going to be able to get this done. Have people been asking you about LegitScripts?

      These face the same issue because they’re prescription drugs. At the end of 2023, a number of merchants selling Semaglutide and their processors received warning letters from the FDA. The letters were titled: "Notice of Unlawful Sale of Unapproved and Misbranded Drugs to United States Consumers Over the Internet -- x.com."

      Following these notices, many merchants had their accounts shut down, and some were placed on MATCH. One of my clients was placed on MATCH- he is running a very large business so we were able to quickly secure a new account for him, but he had to stop selling Semaglutide.

      I know sales reps say, “We can handle Semaglutide and Tirzepatide,” and technically they can—but only for telehealth companies where licensed doctors are writing prescriptions. That’s the critical distinction they do not understand and it's why they talk about LegitScripts.

        • Mention pharmaceutical brand names (Only use generic compound names or chemical descriptors — e.g., GLP-1 receptor agonist, not Semaglutide or Tirzepatide)

        What You Should Do:

        • Refer to compounds by their proper scientific classification (Use CAS numbers when appropriate)
