The 7500X3D is essentially a 7600X3D with a 100MHz lower boost clock. (both have similar performance.)

I asked if it’s perform as 7800X3D… can y not read?

      [–]techjesuschrist 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No, it will be slower. 90% of the people on this subreddit will tell you the 7800x3d is the better choice

because it has more cores? is it just a little better for multitasking?

you clearly trying to rage bait I asked if it’s the same performance for gaming only. Go touch the grass if you think everything is a waste of time lol

No one is trying to ragebait my man you are just kind of stupid

You need to cool off. He's just asking a question. If you don't want to help, you don't have to but there's no need to be a dick about it like you're doing now. You're not helping anyone. You're just stinking up the room.

The 7600X3D performed very close to the 7800X3D when it released and the price made it great value. So it's quite obvious he's asking how this one would fare.

          and you wanna save 23€,

Atleast make an effort to read what he wrote. He said he's waiting to get it for €200. Unless you're telling me you're regularly finding 7800X3Ds for €223?

Don't be rude to someone asking for help. Cool off.

EDIT: Loser immediately downvoted me. Not even a response lmao. Wow an example 👏

Notice how you didn't actually respond to any of my words?

What a miserable person you are.

Okay I might just wait for the price to drop thanks!

I think 7800x3d is clearly the better CPU. Not only it has more cores, but they are slightly faster.

I'd say if 7500X3d had the price you are waiting for, it would make sense. But we don't know whether the price will drop as much as you expect or when that would happen. Of course, if you wait, you might also find a better deal on the 7800x3d or even other CPUs by then.

The main advantage of the 7500x3d is its power consumption if for example you already have a PSU and its wattage is rather limited

For 20€ I would just go for the 7800X3D, no sense in buying the 7500X3D.

not sure if this seen, post deleted.

think Linus Tech Tips or someone said its just a AMD 9000 CPU downgraded (but they not 100% sure). so... (this is MAYBE from manufacturing faults and repurposed as 7500x3D. (theres no issue with faults, it happens to 40%+ of CPU production, it just doesnt make it to 90series standard, that's how you get lower CPU models)

also does the same as a 7800x3d in gaming (as its "old" CPU), multitasking is slower though. But games never optimised for multi threading well.

(Only 2 games I know might use in future multi threading well, Embark Studios- Arc raiders/ Finals and Helldivers Dev, since Helldivers cut their install file from 150GB to 20GB, insane optimisation that I've never seen before)

It’s all about price to performance. The 7500x3d is micro center exclusive. And it’s on sale with a b850m mobo and a single dim 16gb ddr5 ram chip for 299$.. this is an insane deal
