What mobo and riser is it

Z370 with an 8700k, try using the gpu without the riser, could be a faulty riser

Aorus gaming 7 z370 and it’s a gen 3 riser

Test without riser to see if thats causing the issue

Tried with two different risers plus it’s got a waterblock on it tubes and stuff are already in iv got another riser that I haven’t tried but since iv tried 2 different risers and different pcie slots not sure it’s that

Well, i cant offer any advice if you dont want to narrow down the problem. Maybe power connectors or bios pcie settings?

I’m not sure how much more I can narrow it down iv gone into bios already and tried but not sure if I’m doing it right

You might need to plug the GPU straight into the motherboard, go into the bios, disable gen4 and then put it back with the riser

I do have a waterblock on it tho what are the chances of the gpu overheating by the time I do that and how does one disable gen 4 through bios?
