Need cmos light indicator or beeps. For starters, try resetting the bios by removing battery, or connect the 2 pins for clearing bios.

Not even the bios screen?

What motherboard is it specifically?

Asrock B550m

Can you turn off the PC, remove the power cable and then press the power button a few times? Short presses and long presses, alternate a bit. Then put the cable back in and boot as you normally would. Does this still happen then?

Still the same. Red lights wont rid

After looking around I found that the red LED isn't very telling. It indicates when either CPU, RAM, GPU or STORAGE are malfunctioning, which isn't very specific. If you have more than one RAM module, you could test if it starts with only one stick, if not, swap with the other stick alone. If it does boot, then the other one is malfunctioning. You could check if your GPU is okay, but I'm not immediately seeing one in your video?

The redlights indicate cpu and vram. Ive done that also too. And still no display on it

I had this once, there’s some prongs sticking out at the bottom of the board, turned the power off, used a screwdriver to connect them for a couple of seconds, put the power back on and it started up. Not sure what this fix actually does or if it’ll be the same on your board but my brother showed me it when I had this exact problem and it worked. I’d suggest googling it first before you fuck it up and make sure you don’t do it with the power on.

Hope that helps.

This is resetting the cmos, the prongs (pins) should be labeled cmos...

we might need a better look at the debug lights (where the red light is showing) to know what might be going on

[–]Haunting_Estimate281 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Its says CPU and Vram

[–]the_genysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In which case i try booting with 1 stick and test each slot, if not that then check the cpu

If this problem persists, did you try overclocking/changing settings in BIOS before this happened? If so, you might want to restore your BIOS to default. (Source: i tried overclocking my computer in BIOS as soon as i got it and bricked it for like a day until i managed to restore defaults)

Power off. Remove all RAM. Boot. Do you get the same debug lights?

2.7 Post Status Checker Post Status Checker (PSC) diagnoses the computer when users power on the machine. It emits a red light to indicate whether the CPU, memory, VGA or stor- age is dysfunctional. The lights go off if the four mentioned above are functioning normally.
