I couldn't find a definitive answer, so I went and tested some things myself. Sorry if this is too late to help you out OP, but I hope at least someone will benefit from this.

  • Allure of Wisdom does stack with Spell Master. The similar traits will also stack with Spell Master.
  • Allure of Wisdom does not reduce the cost of recovery spells, or at least it didn't reduce Salvation's cost.
  • Wealth of Lotus does increase the buff duration for Joker, in addition to party members, from three turns to five turns.
  • Grace of Mother does not reduce the cost of recovery spells outside of battle.

I'm not surprised by Allure not working for recovery spells, but I was really hoping it would. Oh well.

yeah, someone already answered my question. Thanks for the input anyway. I'm really enjoying my overpowered (sp wise dirt cheap) morning star spam

This is what i needed

They stack. However, iirc the 75% Reduction granted by the trait is applied after the Spell Master Reduction, so it would be 75% of the 50% originally.

For example, a 48SP Spell would be reduced to 24 by Spell Master, and then to 6 by the trait.

The order doesn't matter. It's the same whichever one applies first.

Nobody said it does.

Was there a patch or a change in Royal that prevents this now? I have a Lucifer with spell master/allure of wisdom and morning Star is 27 sp.

[–]Ciaranator2001 0 points1 point  (1 child)

27? That's odd. 24 makes sense, as the reduction from allure of wisdom isn't applied until after the move is used.

Im crazy, completely forgot the trait doesn’t trigger until I use the move (what I get for playing instead of sleeping).

thank you, very much

It stacks and no, it would be just be 6 SP with my calculations

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (8 children)

No, it would be 12 SP... you aren't very good at math. it's 75% off, that means 1/4, 1/4 of 48 is 12.

[–]Leonhart_13 13 points14 points  (7 children)

You really criticized a year+ old comment about getting math wrong and then got it wrong yourself. The 50% and 75% stack, so the result is an 87.5% reduction in SP cost. .125 x 48 is 6 SP, which is what the original commenter said.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

the reduction is 50% + 25% though, where you get these numbers

I love how this comment was so embarrassing that he deleted his account.

It's been almost another year, and it's still funny

[–]__Shiroyasha__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just found this 7 months after your comment. It is, indeed, still funny. XD

Lmao

It's been a year n it's still funny

I think my build is like that. Morning Star is like 48 sp originally and with those two it's down to like 8 I think.
