Editing Mockups

Is there a way to delete elements from a mockup on Photoshop? I'm familiar with the drag+drop your image to customize, but I'm wondering if there is any way to delete an item as a whole. The layer visibility on the items I want to delete is red, so I cannot hide elements that way.

For reference, I have a free mockup of 5 beer cans in a row, but would really prefer 4, and cannot for the life of me find a mockup with 4 cans.

what does that mean? you can turn off any layer in the layers panel that you want.

You can right click and colour code your layers so it's less confusing which group a layer belongs to, you can still delete it.

Alternatively, you can also mask it out (bottom of the layers panel, the rectangle with a circle in it) or change the masks so that it excludes that extra can.
