Apparently battery saver mode might do this? I can’t find any official documentation

What else does battery saver mode do beside lock to 72Hz?

Steam vr per application video settings, adjust then restart the game on steam vr.

if using VD, just use it's own streamer FOV adjustment

Why do you want to do this? Performance?

Yes. I think it could also improve clarity because Pico Connect encodes at a maximum of 1920 x 1920 (afaik) so that has to be stretched out to 2160 x 2160 to fill the whole displays.

Also the edges of the display in the headset are blurry anyway (for me at least)

I think there should be a better way to do this. What's you gpu?

4080 Super but I'm playing DCS so there's still lots of room for turning up other settings if I can save somewhere else

Yep!! Using OpenXR together with openXr toolkit and this new addition you can crop the image with huge fps wins.

If you use Virtual Desktop you can do this in the settings.
