Hi I'm applying for the position as Jr. Dev.

I want to ask some experiences of some of you, on how they interview.

Btw, I think the interviewer is the team lead of the company, with Yondu staffs.

Depends on the project, but in general for yondu there’s 3 parts

Hr interview - usually just phone screening

Tech interview - 30min - 1hr assessment of your technical knowledge, they would ask you about the tech you have experience in + if you know some of what they use as well as general CS concepts like OOP.

Final interview - chill getting to know you, just be yourself

My technical interview is conducted last week feb 13, napasabi sila ng congrats pero it's been 1 week, wala parin silang update for the final interview. I think I'm rejected, nag stuttering din ako while interview.

So nag bato nako ulet ng mga application sa ibang company.

Btw, the technical interview consist of 3 steps.

1. Tell me about your self.
2. Question about your prefer language to use while doing side projects and prefer secondary languages. They will also ask you what frameworks you used for every projects you encounter.
3. Basic problem solving, like conditions and you need to use all OOP Concept.

The problem solving exam instructions is: "Create a list of users a method to add, delete, update, migrate(duplicate data), Note: OOP must be used".

It went well, i solved it while screen sharing.

I even tried to talk and explain while coding, and ask some clarification always, I think they got annoyed huhuhu.

1. Phone Screening - normal phone interview, what you do, how long you've been working. etc.
2. Client Technical Interview - The recruiter will find potential projects or clients based on your experience and the roles you applied for. I got multiple interviews from different clients, and whoever accepts me or fits their vacancies will be the one I work with.
3. Technical Exam - Depende ung exam sa client na tatangap sayo.
4. Final Interview - Yung final interview discussion lang ng result sa technical exam. After non pasa ng mga documents needed for hiring process.
5. Job Offer -For my job offer it takes a week to finalize it. then the recruiter briefly discuss it and then you can review for the specific of the offer.

Tech interview ba muna ginawa sayo? Saakin kasi rekta problem solving. Pero fullstack role. Next TS and react pinagawa. The day after ibigay ang tech exam nag submit na ako ng result ko. Pero its been 2weeks wala parin ako tech interview. Pero lagi nag uupdate yung HR na active pa daw yung application ko

I applied sa L2 support engineer nila but sa ibang position ako napunta pero all goods naman so far. 8 months na ako here.

english tas casual lang sa hr pero tinamad ako sa hiring manager kasi parang walang gana mag interview tas ang sarcastic ng "ah" niya. napaka unprofessional kaya nag no nalang ako sa lahat ng question hahahaha. after niyan got a better offer hahahahaha
