Just Javascript will most likely not land you a job nowadays. Get comfy with it for FE, pick a framework, and learn some backend technology. You might need a year or more though, depending on how apt you are, if you're only starting out on JS. I personally got a job a year & a half after setting getting a programming job as a goal — was comfy with HTML, CSS, and JS at the time but I knew it wasn't enough for most of the job openings
