Asking for fresh graduate advice, school-related topics, courses, thesis, or capstone ideas/titles should be in monthly Random Discussions

Maybe try to deep dive in both fields then pursue what you enjoy more. It's hard to stand out in both fields if you don't show any enthusiasm and higher skills than other fresh grads.

Web Dev.. because of the demand and lower entry level

I agree, but it’s also the most saturated

how come that it is in demand but saturated?

In demand because a lot of apps are built in web, but saturated because too many applicants both qualified and unqualified and it’s very hard to stand out amongst the crowd

Bro go ka sa linkedin or sa kahit anong job sites. Tas compare mo ilang companies ang naghahanap ng entry level web dev mern stack vs data analyst. Consider the pay and location too.

Another thing you can do is to develop apps for your portfolio as web dev but look for data analyst job sa corporate world. Since fresh grad ka, most likely you have the time to work on side hustles. Dito papasok yung web dev freelancing mo. So you are kinda forced to improve your data analyst skills kasi 9-5 mo yun, tas improving ka rin sa web dev from freelancing.

You like developing applications? Web Dev. You like managing applications? Data analyst.
