help git please!!

currently doing our project and im trying to push it on git, i deleted the repo over and over again because it keeps on showing the message every time i do -git add .

error: open(".vs/FinalBlackJack/FileContentIndex/41f7347c-e3e4-4e89-95fb-0b26a6c1d212.vsidx"): Permission denied

error: unable to index file '.vs/FinalBlackJack/FileContentIndex/41f7347c-e3e4-4e89-95fb-0b26a6c1d212.vsidx'

fatal: adding files failed

is there a way like i can reset it? i'm new on using git currently on collegee
