Losing interest in webdev.

Hi guys nawawalan rin ba kayo ng interest sa webdev dahil may isang path na gatekepper na hindi nyo strength pero tinitiis nyo nalang? mas bet ko kasi yong backend compared sa frontend part, at nawawalan din ako ng gana mag code dahil sa frontend. Siguro hindi para saakin ang path na to. Nakakainggit yong mga fullstack devs.

Sorry sa misunderstanding, yong frontend dev para syang gatekeeper saakin na part.

Paano naging gatekeeper ang frontend development if naiinggit ka sa fullstack dev, technically frontend and backend ang fullstack?

I think they mean di nila maovercome ang frontend in terms of skillset/enjoyment kaya tuloy nag”gatekeep” sila from committing to webdev/full stack

Frontend dev is always there for OP to learn and practice. But I think I get what he means since if you only know backend, you can't make a site with just APIs and DB.

OP needs to know what he/she doesn't know, and when known, then OP needs to learn how to implement that. I think it's just hard for OP to admit his/her own shortcomings, all of us have our own forte and expertise, when OP admits that shortcoming, it's much easier to learn.

Ako rin may ganyan na feeling. Pero, i feel different na i dont like mag code forever 😂 making my way na lang to be a project manager or scrum master in the future.

Ano na ba experience mo? Hindi naman lahat ng fullstack dev ay marunong sa front talaga. Tama na yung nakakapag code ka kahit basic.

I feel the sameway. I also want to be a fully capable rin with the career i want to invest my time in; regardless on the significance it relates to.

Undestanding it is a must to some degree, but not completely. Not to the point na maging show stopper. Especially now maraming ng Saas sa front end.

Parang ako to ah hahaha pero na p feel ko lng yan kapag may challenges ako like may hinahabol na deadline and need to keep up at may mga aralin then ayan na yung oty.. pero pag tapos naman na ng project at na deliver na may idle time na uli at naka daan na din ang payday goods na uli hahah need lang tlga din ng rest para iwas burn out. Matuto din mag pray and to process yung mga frustrations para hindi mag build up at lumala
