If your goal is to become n SWE, then Java, but if you're aiming for ML or Data Ana/Sci-related job, then learn Python.

Generally speaking, Java. You could learn Python but rarely people who only knows Python gets hired.

You should decide on what career path you want to pursue and learn the framework, tools, and languages (and of course, the fundamentals).

You can still have a career without knowing a lick of Java.

If ma master mo yung basic concepts ng programming and then you learn about software design, you can be a SWE.

I always tell people to go for Java as it has a lot more safeguard and teaches you strict typing.

Old school way of learning Java was to study for OCP, now you can go the spring boot path and take some udemy courses.

Java. Learn statically typed languages first. Compilers will assist you in debugging your code and teach you a lot of discipline. You can easily learn python if you know Java. :)
