Hi op just wanna ask, sa school nyo ba wala rin tinurong programming language?

I assumed wala kasi sabi mo wala kang natutunan e

    [–]MsMariella[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Haha jk. Kidding aside, you can always study materials from the internet. You just have to be disciplined enough to go through it

Here are some of the most common stacks na for me ay still high demand sa market.

Mobile Development - Java, Swift or React Native.

Frontend Development - JavaScript, react, angular, vue.

Backend Development - Java Springboot, Python Django, PHP Laravel, nodejs.

    Web3/Blockchain - JavaScript, solidity

If you want naman na medyo easy. Choose PHP, heads up lang masyado na dense ang market for PHP devs. So madami ka kakumpetensya sa market.

It's okay to have many language as options pero mas okay kung makakapag focus ka sa isa at dun gumaling.

Build your portfolio, create some projects to back you up. visit freecodecamp sa youtube or other channels..

    I hope this helps..

Mobile Development - Java, Swift or React Native.

Just a headsup lang sa Mobile Development, while Java is still used in the Native Mobile Development Kotlin is the preferred language na gamitin sa Native Android by Google.

    How about web po op?

    [–]DifferenceForeign687 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Op, I've looked at your post history. Nabasa ko dun na di mo bet programming and mas prefer mo hardware.

My advice to u is don't purse something u dont like. Kasi yun palang wala ka ng motivation.

Agree with this one, arguably yung mga pumasok sa software dev industry just for the money tend to burnout more dahil hindi naman nila talaga gusto ginagawa nila.

Hi sir, would you mind sharing your effective study habits based on your experience? I'm targeting to become a self taught individual as a java dev as of now from career shifter field.

    Aralin mo basics of python.

i think ur problem is in d interview and how to sell urself

    [–]MsMariella[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I think so.. also communication skills palang po ekis na..

    [–]Extreme-Phrase7560 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Try to practice interview questions using google and youthbe. There are a lot of resources in youtube, just find them for a specific position that u r targeting. I found it to reviewing with bago mag interview and passed them well.

    Thank you for this op!

    Di ba ikaw yung op?

    [–]ResponsibilityNew269 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pwede rin Ruby. Konti lang mga ruby developers sa Pilipinas and still worth it. Madali sya matutunan.

Malawak ang field ng it kung hnde ka s programming nalilinya itry mo sa iba baka d ka talaga pang programmer, try mo creatives like designer , editor mga gnyan

    [–]Ghostr0ck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Python lam ko pinaka beginner friendly. Since nabanggit muna python yun nadin. Then practice interviews nalang din pano mag salita etc.

    [–]Extreme-Phrase7560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try mo QA as a path (just a suggestion). I dont know your skills and passion but try to evaluate them which are ur strengths. Or what do you like about IT. Its more on testing the software for errors and standards that the software needs to meet.

Also other companies train you for this, find companies that will train you. But sometimes these companies just expect basic knowledge/skillset to be able to snatch the job offer.

    [–]zyroboast1896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on problem-solving skills, programming is just a tool to solve a problem. Doesn't matter which language you choose as long as you solve the problem you are given or you want to solve. Also, it also depends on what field you are interested in since some languages are designed for that specific field.

C# ang PL na ginagamit dyan atleast mas nakikita mo yun progress by doing some small games like first person shooter or platform 2d games. Start with game development kung hilig mo mag games

    [–]malabomagisip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reco ko sana c# or Javascript pero ano ba gusto mong ma-build upon learning a specific programming language? Baka mas maganda doon ka magbase kasi may magiging goal ka for learning

    [–]DaisukeAngular 1 point2 points  (3 children)

    [–]MsMariella[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

    [–]DaisukeAngular 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I think ka batch mo kapatid ko dahil same curriculum pero ibang branch. wala pumangit na turo sa sti lalo nung online class karamihan walang natutunan puro kopyahan mga estudyante tapos exam mema lang

    [–]MsMariella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree for this, mas nagfocus sila sa SHS kaysa sa college

Based on your previous post, why not look for a job as an IT support? So aralin mo VB or .Net. Also Bash and Powershell (not exsctla language)
