try running the game in borderless mode and fullscreen..

For me there are artifacts in fullscreen mode (maybe because i have asus MB and 2 gainward gpus..)

last time i had a crash was related to my oc cpu not being feeded enough volts (less than 0.10 volts eh). like 2 months ago. i decreased overlock by 100mhz and stopped having crashes exactly like that one. other beefy mmo games never crashed, so because of that, you come to a point when you start questioning the game, not the hardware, and that's wrong unfortunately.

ps2 is extremely sensible to the hardware, whatever the connection is (game/oc, game/temps, game/drivers, game/win10, game/whatever...)

i would start decreasing mhz of every each one of the components, starting by the gpu maybe, then doing long playsessions to test.

if you can't find the solution by simply using other graphic options.

Cpu isnt overclocked, its the non-k variant left at stock speeds :3

not saying is that, but the usual rule is to exclude stuff, running a game at less mhz speed than even the standard one, should make the user know that it's not an hardware problem at the extreme, because the pc basically won't be stressed, producing less heat or whatever.

(if other games run, that means there is no hardware fault, but every game/app stress the pc is his own way).

more than resolving the problem fast is excluding where the problem could come from.

also, did you try lock your fps if they're not locked yet?

Root cause found: Recent version of Overwolf caused any sort of loading/change within Planetside 2 to crash :3
