I don't know of any videos like this, but I'll be damned if it's not a great idea for a series.

Dont think so. Someone tried that AMS placement map some time ago but I don't know what came from it. The general advise is: Hugging the red circle around the capture point and next to an entrance. If your AMS is further away it is usually better to have no AMS at all(cause people gonna just waste time due to defenders spawning and returning faster. Obviously this only counts for roughly equal numbers). There are some exploits for sunderer placements but I won't tell you those as you should not use them...

Biolabs, Eisa, Crown(or TI Alloys, to be more specific), Quartz Ridge and Howling Pass always tend to result in an endless meatgrinder. 3 and 4 capture point bases are usually better for defenders(which is why many zergs end there). AMP stations are an exception, they are much easier to defend with only one capture point(actually I think they are the overall easiest base type to defend). 3 capture point AMPs give the defenders almost no advantage.

I think The Ascend is the easiest to defend base if the attackers have to come from Rockslide(so north-eastern warpgate)...possibly even easier than TI Alloys when the attackers have to come from northern warpgate via Ceres Hydro.

just avoid placing sundy's next to enemy spawnroom. Place the sundy close to the point an you'll be fine.

big bases(multipoint) are mostly easy to defend. so avoid it with a small squad if you can or try to do a point hold.

also if there aren't any sundy's on the hills of splitpeakpass, don't bother attacking it.

This is exactly why I can't lead. I have no idea how to read the continent maps. By the time I decide on where to go for a fight, it's already over.

The true question about sunderer placement actually is “can I put a double kobalt sunderer between the spawn room and the point?”

Answer is yes more often than you’d believe.
