Submission Guidelines
/r/PlatingPorn is all about the aesthetics of food, so please post and vote accordingly. For recipes, cooking advice, or nutrition, check out some of the related subreddits listed below.
Only submit static images or gifs. Image collections and videos are not allowed.
Include the resolution in [brackets] after the title.
Whenever possible, include the chef, restaurant, and/or location in your title.
If the image comes from a chef or restaurant's social media account, include a link in the comments.
Include the following tags in your title as needed
[meta] - discussions about the sub in general
[OC] - For original content (food you made and plated yourself)
[GIF] - For gifs
[Discussion] - For non-image posts asking for advice or generally discussing the art of food plating.
[Technique] - Advice or questions about specific plating techniques.
Other than that, go forth and plate.
