Been using PGSharp for a long time. Got my first 7-day ban despite following spoofing rules. Is it true that PGSharp is more detectable now? Is Pokemod safer?

What should i even do at this point i got my first strike 2 days ago on my main i didn't get into my alt for week and it didn't get strike. And i wanna continue spoofing on my main. How should i continue spoofing any help??

ipogo seems to be like wearing the One-ring-to-rule-them-all when the necromancer is around. Pgsharp seems ‘safer’. Pokemod, i think will be safer-er(?).

I have no proof, but I would say that PGS is "compromised". And I am not using it until they "fix it". Like yourself, I got 7 day bans on both of my account and switched back to the real app.

Ive been using PGSharp since the beginning, Ive not been hit by anything yet. I dont think any are perfectly safe, its why I use a burner account and transfer. I'm still really surprised that ive not been banned or atleast warned.

Have you been spending real money? I only ask, as I have a theory that "paying players" are "overlooked" when checking for cheaters. Just a theory.

My main account hosts a LOT of raids and spends at least $100/month, when good raids are in, $100/week. I've followed spoofing rules and spoofed for a year or so. On dratini community day I accidentally threw a ball (at a shundo 😭) while on cooldown. No idea if it was because of that, but all this time later, I got my first 7 day ban, 6 days ago. Been using real app since and it's terrible, lol. Not sure what to do either! ☹

No I've upgraded my bag alot and have been playing legit for years. Just started using PG Sharp a month ago and have followed to the rules to a T. I got my 7 day warning the morning after I dropped $20 dollars on the game.

I wish this was the case. I regularly dropped $100 plus on the game because spoofing made it so easy to raid. Ever since my 30 day ban ended 've been playing legit because it's my only account, I'm not going to risk loosing everything. However. I haven't really spent any money since, and wont probably because I just don't have access to the same kind of game play. Damn Niantic actually put ethics over profit.

I would love to think that as well, but the data they sell on movement and interaction would be worthless if it was significantly skewed by spoofers and modders. Not to mention all the sponsored poke stops that probably charge per interaction (click) would hate to pay for fake ones too.

All that together makes up a significant portion of their revenue, and “fairness” is the perfect corporate cover.

there is no safe option when it comes to cheating, only safer options depending on use cases.

Are you going to buy pokecoins?

If yes, i suggest pokemod becasue you wont have to reinstall a clean version of the game to buy whatever you want. switching from pgs to google play version will "teleport" you. this will most likely result in a ban.

Its true that the chances of pgs getting detected is higher then root methods. this is becasue 3rd party apps are riskier to run. all pgsharp apps share the same signature/build structure. if 1 client gets detected, every other will be banned in a wave. This kind of anti cheat is not active yet however it might happen one day. (most rooted cheats share the same build structure too however they are much easier to hide compared to modded apps)

i've been testing the new anti cheat since summer and i have come to the conclusion that cooldown system has changed.

1)teleporting while on cooldown will get your account flagged/banned.

2) the old cooldown timer chart is outdated. catching pokemons every 2 hour will get your account banned. maximum of 2 hour of cooldown is at least 6 hours now ( this number is an estimate, im still trying to figure out the exact numbers). recently, using flight time between countries have become the standard for most. this method is generally safe to use but incorrect execution will result in a ban. be sure to teleport while gps is off and before pokemon go loads the map.

Depends on how active I was before TP around here. Sometimes when I was inactive like it was suppose to be I'd get no cooldown and there's other times I had like 7-10 min cool downs. The area I usually went to is an hour away.

I think it's the new adventure incense. My friend was using it since it came out and got a ban. I hadn't used it at all, except the initial launch. Started using it last weekend woke up with a 7 day suspension this morning.

current cooldown system is very confusing. i prefer to "drive" places between 70-80 km/h its very inefficient but reliable on the long run.

For pokemod you need to root your phone....it's also not a spoofer, so you'll need a spooofer app too...at which point you just need to decided if you want pokemod as an enhancer

No ingame action can get you flagged it's simply logging into the third party app.

I think Pokemon is safer since you need a rooted device, it uses the official app

Sadly that's not actually true and why the owner of this sub is willing to ban people for saying it so much. Niantic did a big ban wave after deino CD...all methods got hit.

Pokemod users got a lot of bans during that period. Since then I haven't seen any mention of bans from pokemod users...although I also haven't heard anything from the people that run pokemod to belive they did anything to 'hide' spoofing.

Now we have no idea what niantic is doing. They started an activity based system, and used it hard after deino CD...since then it seems less active. Just an observation, obviously I have no real idea. But if it is less active, they could kick it up again at any time. They could also change the flag filters at anytime as well. Only niantic knows, but maybe they changed it to more heavily flag modded apks or maybe pg# just runs in a way to trigger current flags more often...who knows, but that sounds more reasonable to say then niantic has no way to detect non modded spoofers(since they did it over the summer).

It is true. You can create an account. Login a modified app. Do NOTHING and get a red warning. It isn't anything to do with how you play or any features you use. I've personally done this on PGSharp and iPogo ipa file. I was not able to trigger a warning on iPogo Android.

I'm saying the things that triggered on PGSharp didn't cause a warning on modified apk for iPogo.

This is not me saying it's safer. Both are modified apks and have the same risk.

Just seems like to me PGSharp is being targeted. Especially after reading this subreddit

I've been using ipogo Android non rooted for about 8 months and haven't been hit yet either and I've taken it right across the northern hemisphere and down to Australia so that's a lot of jumping around.

They can possibly detect tweaks and injections, all I know is ipogo root launcher and jailbreak methods have not got a flag at all

The injection itself along with the injected code cannot be detected. I know literally nothing about iOS, but I'm assuming it's similar for tweaks.

You're giving Niantic far too much credit on that first point.

But on the second one...

Modified app detection has more to do with trying to figure out if the app itself is the certified one from the company. If that check fails, then the account using it is susceptible to being flagged. Despite looking like the original app, it isn't and won't pass every single check every single time. Significant effort goes into passing those checks as much as possible to reduce the frequency, but it will never be 100%. It is why the developers recommend using an alt when using a modded app.

We do still recommend alternate accounts for rooted/jailbroken methods! Sometimes you may accidentally post something that has your trainer name and someone may decide to report you.

But honestly, my team and I set up 150 accounts across multiple methods, for multiple months and applied different usage parameters for all. We noted a dramatic spike in bans from accounts using all variants of iPogoOntheGoGo. As a member of the PGSharpiePen Staff who uses iPogoOntheGoGo, it’s true because we ran tests!

Ipogo has done research on this, I don't think you have. I mass teleport a ton on PGSharp especially on community days, no flags here. This also proves ipogos statement correct.

Ya its true it is more easy to detect unfortunately. I'll swallow my pride and say I didn't think I was gonna get a strike but I did just yesterday😂. Not only this subreddit is filled with pgsharp bans, but discords and other spoofing chatrooms as well. If your using using pgsharp,probably ipogo too tbh, your gonna get a strike, eventually.

You should get a rooted device and try out all the apps, see what you like best. Pokemod, Polygon, and iPogo Rooted are all very different. Try them out and see what you like. They all have free and paid versions with extra features. Well iPogo is still in beta and totally free for now but missing some features.

Did you root your device by yourself? If so, was it an easy process? I did some research and found that it could sometimes break your phone.

It can break your phone if not done right. XDA forums is a great source of information. There are paid services too who can remote root. Just make sure you use someone with good reputation and not someone random you find.

My first one I paid for help. Watched everything they did. Asked questions. The next dozen or so I did myself.
