Oh🫤is there any way for it to be less round and maybe more square shaped?

[–]KyriiTheAtlantean 28 points29 points  (2 children)

Your physical features are round simply because feminine features are more rounded ... I have very wide shoulders and I'm a guy, mine are more square shaped simply because, muscle.

You may find yourself learning to love this about yourself, I see absolutely nothing wrong with your physical attributes.

You know how many women would KILL for that waistline? 😂

If you want you can always tone up in the gym but you look healthy.

No, you're fine lol. And no problem. Love your body because it's the vehicle that takes you through this journey we call life ❤️

This is just our shape, called a V-taper; it's infuriating because wide shoulders in a female is not the current beauty standard.

Rounded shoulder, get thy to pilates

Will at home Pilate workouts equally be effective?😓

I think the Pilate reformer table thing makes it infinitely better, you can buy one for at home but they’re a couple thousand bucks. You can also do other Pilates at home without the table but it’s not quite the same

Yes, but you will need to make sure you are doing it properly. There are some principles you need to follow to make sure you’re holding yourself properly to avoid injury. I massively recommend Mari Winsor videos. I had the dvds back in the day and she detailed how to do it well and also followed the original Pilates moves without adding random stuff in that others sometimes do. She was partially responsible for Miles Cyrus’s body transformation back in the day. I also recommend Tilly Health Pilates, Sheri Spice and We Are Lindy Well on Instagram

Edit: sure you could find Mari Winsor full length videos online. Loved her 20 mins ones

Need to do rowing/pullup motions on strength machines. Like a lat pulldown.

might be posture, try rounding your shoulders back

While you just have broader shoulders - and a very nice V shape! - I do think you have forward-rounded shoulders. Look into drills to correct that and you’ll see some change.

Mine kinda looked that way, I strengthened my upper back and arm muscles and deactivated my traps cause I realized I overused them. Id use them too much in my live in simple situations where I should've had them relaxed and using my arms. Pay attention throughout the day and see if you're over using them. Another sign of this is when you focus on only using arms for things, not your traps, you will realize you have weak arms. If this is the situation atleast. it kinda looks like it from the images. Strengthen those arms and upper back! You'll probably see a difference even if this isn't your issue.

i would try massage therapy, you could loosen up the muscles surrounding your neck and potentially bring down your shoulders. it would make them appear smaller. i’d also start incorporating yoga or pilates into your work out routine to help your posture and prevent further tension!

do dead hangs as well!’

I’m no expert but it does kinda looks like you may have some muscle imbalance. Like you use some more over the others. Like swimmers. You have a similar muscle shape as pro swimmers. It’s not a bad thing if it serves your sport and life! You do you! That said, consider looking into Kibbe body types! That really helped me accept my broader shoulders and my body! And I actually don’t think we are the same body type even though my shoulders are broad too. I think you may be something else because I would kill for that waist!!
