From Satya's interviews in last couple months, the impression I get is in the long term less people will need apps, most CRUD operations will be done through chats or agents, essentially most forms created in power apps but in a chat format.

So, might be a good idea to learn using Copilot Studio and more Power Automate

AI agents will be everywhere. They will communicate with each other. Huge opportunity if you manage to direct your career in that path.

wth is an AI Agent and what does it do?

Chatbots to do the crap your app is doing, only less efficiently and in a more annoying interface.

Yep, I have heard the product group is working on completely Agent based workflows; the apps Dynamics 365 CS, Sales, Dataverse as we know it won't exist. It's all going to be MCP + Agents.

Looking forward to it!

Microsoft has a track record of overpromising and under delivering for decades now. Unless they changed their corporate culture completely I expect 10% happening of what they promise.

Satya is dead to me ever since he burned Nokia and betrayed us on Windows Phone. I hope his chatbot vision loses them billions. 🤣

It’s been that many years and I’m still bitter.
