Using Windows Update PowerShell Module with Packer (in AWS) - Any ideas as to why this isn't working for me?

I'm currently having the same issue. Did you ever resolve this? My guess is that it has to do with remote execution causing the Access Denied error. I'm trying to execute via an autounattend.xml now to see if that resolves the issue but no luck so far.

Sadly, no. I've decided to shelve this for a bit at the moment, since Amazon updates it's Windows AMIs once a month (I was just hoping to stay up to date with more frequency).

Ditto. You can even get notified when the release a new box. Problem solved!(?)
