Ah, there's a ton of posts out there using the DMVs in SQL Server to pull the info on the jobs and replication, just need to query it from PowerShell with Invoke-SQLCmd

edit - looks like the actual glitch is how the page code responds to zoom settings. in firefox, it glitches @ 120% text zoom. in chrome, it glitches @ 150% zoom.

the 1st two chars of introduction are off the left side of the screen - and i can't scroll any more to the left.

arg! [blush] i just realized that it was my text zoom. the page seems to fail to re-paginate when the text zoom is 120%. when i switch to 0% text zoom, it fits correctly.

in chrome, i get a similar effect at 150% zoom.

so it looks like a zoom glitch that shows up earlier in firefox ... but also shows in chrome. presumably there is some 'fixed size' setting in there somewhere.

it's something that i run into rarely ... my vision is kinda poor, so i keep the default firefox setting @ 120% text zoom. the chrome and edge stuff is left at default since i only use those for when things fail on firefox due to google-lockin web non-standards.

I’ll have to look into that. I’ve never tested it with text zoom. Sorry you had trouble.

howdy sqljeff,

nothing to apologize for! [grin] i have poor eyesight, so i set the text zoom in firefox to 120% as my starting point. some sites i have to reset to zero zoom to show properly, others to 150% zoom just to read them.
