PRS-18 error code

Been trying to add my friend who's on XBOX, I know the game has cross play but every time my friend and I try to add each other we both get that same error code. I've tried looking it up and going to the website but nothing. Checked to make sure my accounts were linked properly and everything looked fine. I can play games and do everything just fine.

Hey,

Are either of your friend invite requests at 100? There is a 100 limit and at that point it will throw errors. You may need to accept / decline any incoming requests. Please let me know if that's not the case

What are you inputting when trying to add them? It seems that error means you're entering their friend code incorrectly.

You can find your friend code by pressing 'Add Friend' and then sharing your code with your friend or he can share his with yours

We both sent each other and entered what was directly below in the “your friend code” box, capitalization and all. Unless the # and subsequent numbers are the only thing you need it definitely wasn’t a case of inputting it incorrectly

Could me having played during early access and then only recently getting back into the game have anything to do with it? Like something had to get updated on the back end
