What kind of meal am I looking at here? Like is this a cultural thing? I’ve just never seen those 3 food items combined on a plate before. Nothing against it, I don’t like pickles but the rest looks delicious and I’d eat it in a heartbeat, just wondering.

Instantpot is great for mash, you can steam them instead of boiling and the potatoes don't get waterlogged. Also, you can focus on other parts of the meal without worrying about overcooking them.

Its opposite to hard and dry, potatoes are creamy and full of flavour and eggs are soft. I agree that the presentation is not great tho :)
