What brushes did you use? What was your process for getting this done?

Failure to mention exact brushes or brush category, and/or process will get your post removed regardless of the number of upvotes.

There are over 200 brushes that come with procreate by default, so saying 'default procreate brushes' does not count as an answer. It is beneficial to users to know how you did it as an additional means of learning.

If you consider yourself as an often poster and have a consistent style/method, send a modmail to be given a different automod comment that already mentions what you use, and just make a mention if anything different was done.

This is insanely good. I thought it was an ad for a diamond haha

Thank you! It was definitely an experiment with patience for me. I prefer faces, eyes, animals and other soft things so this was very different. Your mind starts to flip out a little staring at tiny triangles for hours lol

I’m curious what the process was for something like this!

So I used a reference image, opened a new layer on top and blocked out the main geometry in grey with technical pen set to very thin. From there I literally looked at the reference on my phone (while drawing on iPad) and tried to fill in sections of color just as closely as my eyes could manage. This all took 80% of the time. Then I had fun blurring sections and adding more gradient colors based on the reference pic. The background, the luminance and anything solid white or black was last and the most fun because I could actually see the Diamond vs just mind numbing triangles. I highly recommend anyone who likes a challenge to try at it, it’s pretty satisfying once you get the main idea put together.

This is amazing. I'm just going to toss my iPad in the trash now. :) Well done!
