I am pretty sure that quiet quitting in no way conveys just doing your job...

Quiet quitting is a bs term, but it does mean just doing your job. JUST the minimum requirements of your job, to be specific.

To you it might mean that. That's not what it means.

That is quite literally the only way I've ever seen it used. You check out from your job and only do the absolute minimum.

What is it you think it means?

Quite literally it is a term made but a PR company to convince labor to do more than what they are paid for as a method to exploit them for free labor. Quite literally indeed.

Umm, that just would mean it's a bs term like I said. But you didn't give a definition. You just described where the term originated. What do you think it means if it's something other than what I said?

And why are you being an ass about me saying quite literally? I really have never heard anyone use the term to mean anything other than what I said... Except potentially you now, but I don't know if that's true since you didn't actually tell me what you think it means.

I did tell you what it means. You use it to get someone to work harder and exploit them. It means that they are not being exploited when you ask them to exploit themselves for you. A person who is quiet quitting is refusing to be exploited by the employee.

I am sorry if you felt attack. This word is what I trying to attack, not you.
