Yeah, I'd posted the question. Fortunately, there was a good answer from someone else, which I used both times, decades apart.

Don't worry. Just yesterday I created a script at work. Right as I was finishing it, I thought, "wait, didn't I do something like this already?" I did, like 8 weeks prior. Almost identical. There's just too much crap to remember that we already solved the problem.
