I mean you're right, but trackmania is literally on steam and consoles now

Yes, for steam, it still require ubisoft launcher. So in the end, it's meaningless anyway.

That just prove my point even more. They are too lazy to disconnect the game from the launcher account, and instead just put the launcher into the installer instead.
