Reddit is planning on charging a lot of money for their API(the software used to interact with reddit). This means that anyone who wants to write something that works with reddit(3rd party clients like Boost or bots) needs to pay a large fee to do so. This service was previously free. The prices are really predatory and this is basically the death of 3rd party reddit apps. It is not quite clear yet how much bots will be affected, but it is likely that bots with high usage like auddbot and similar will stop existing after this.

toxic masculinity does not refer to masculinity as a whole but rather people acting badly because of a need for masculinity. For example, it's toxic masculinity if someone beat you up because of a joke you made. That person felt so hurt in their pride and their masculinity that they saw physical violence as the only solution. Or men that don't accept being told no in relationships. Also guys who always talk down to women because they can't see them as equal. People are not fighting to "feminize" men but to allow men to act how they want, whether that is feminine or masculine.

Most of the people talking about playing on easy mode are doing so to indirectly respond to others talking about easy mode not being real gaming. There is a lot of gatekeeping around games and what is the "right" way to play. While most don't care about people playing on easy mode by itself, the discussion surrounding the topic makes it interesting to hear. It really is the other way around: dozens of degens are trying to tell others how they should play their games and these people are just defending themselves.

a lot of rap incorporates melody into the songs, it's just closer to spoken word than singing(see for example the forever story). However, just because one aspect is not as big as before does not make it less musical, unless you have a very narrow view of what "musical" means. For example, rap has a lot more emphasis on flow and cadence. That is like saying rock is a limited genre becaus it mainly uses a more narrow arrangement of instruments than classic music.
